GROWBA is proud to roll out the welcome mat for our newest member house: The Kettle Recreation Center in Slinger—and it’s a game changer. As GROWBA’s first-ever String Bowling house, The Kettle brings a bold, modern twist to the lanes.
Opened in 2025, The Kettle blends cutting‑edge bowling technology with familiar comfort. Bowlers will recognize the classic approaches, lanes, and ball returns from the former Kettle Moraine Bowl, now paired with fully upgraded pinsetters and pin decks. Add in exciting innovations like Hyper Bowling—where bumpers are encouraged during open play—and you’ve got an experience that’s fresh, fun, and built for everyone.

With a tournament, of course.
Join us at The Kettle for the Strings Before Swings end‑of‑the‑year singles tournament on April 12th and be among the first to experience competitive play on string pinsetters. Whether you’re curious about string bowling or ready to test your skills, this event is your chance to be part of something new.

Colored Head Pin: See how colored head pins work on strings! $100 gift card for The Kettle will be raffled at the end of the tournament. Each colored head pin strike gets you an entry.

- Your USBC membership number
- Your last year composite average
